Do I need an HVAC technician to install this?
No! Our wall-mounted systems are designed for complete DIY installation. The pre-charged lineset means no vacuum pump or refrigerant handling is needed. Most homeowners complete the install in 2-4 hours with basic tools.
What electrical work is needed?
This unit requires a dedicated 208-230V circuit. If you don't already have a 230V outlet near the outdoor unit location, you may need an electrician to run one.
What if 16 ft of lineset isn't enough?
Pick a longer run for each zone right on this page — 25 ft, 35 ft, 50 ft, or any exact length in between. Pricing is $100 up to 25 ft, $200 up to 35 ft, and $300 up to 50 ft ($150, $300 and $450 for 18K systems, which use a larger-diameter line). Need a shorter run than 16 ft? Enter it and we cut it to length at no extra charge. Every length ships pre-charged — no refrigerant handling either way.
Does this unit heat and cool?
Yes! This is a heat pump system that provides both heating and cooling year-round. It can heat effectively down to Independent zone control outdoor temperature and cool in temperatures up to 122°F.
What warranty is included?
All Zone Air systems come with a 7-year compressor warranty and 5-year parts warranty for the original purchaser. DIY installation does not void coverage. We also offer live technical support (9–5 MST) and 30-day returns on uninstalled systems.
