Zone Air Contractor Program Terms

Version 2026-2. Effective September 16, 2026 for the 2026 program year. Rates are published again each January.

Who the program is for

The program is for businesses that install mini split systems for their own customers: HVAC contractors, general contractors, remodelers, builders, and property managers with their own crews. Zone Air reviews every application by hand and may approve or decline at its discretion. By applying you confirm that the information you give is accurate and that you are authorized to sign up on behalf of the business.

What you get

Approved members get contractor pricing on every order from the date of approval. The pricing schedule steps down as your qualifying purchases add up, by calendar year or by the size of a single order, and is shown in your account after approval. Members are told the schedule for each program year in January. Approved members may also receive a welcome offer on their first qualifying order. The offer and its conditions are shown in your account after approval. One welcome order per business. The contractor discount comes off the listed price and replaces any promo code, coupon, or sale price; discounts are never stacked. A pricing step you earn in a year carries through the following year.

What counts

Qualifying purchases are what you paid after the contractor discount and before tax and shipping, on orders placed after approval. Cancelled orders and orders refunded in full do not count. If part of an order is refunded, Zone Air may reduce your qualifying total by the refunded amount. The count runs by calendar year and resets on January 1.

Large orders

Orders of ten or more systems are quoted by email rather than placed through the website. Email support@zone-air.com with the sizes you need and the job address.

Returns and the welcome offer

Program orders follow the standard returns policy. Restocking fees and return shipping are calculated on the price you actually paid after the contractor discount. The welcome offer is used by the order it was applied to, whether or not any part of that order is later returned. If a return brings a welcome order below the offer's minimum, Zone Air may reprice the items you keep at your regular contractor rate and deduct the difference from the refund.

Warranty on systems you install

Systems bought through the program carry the standard Zone Air Limited Warranty, running from your purchase date. Coverage stays with the system at the property where you installed it. Either you or the property owner can open a claim using your order number. The warranty covers parts as published; labor to diagnose, remove, or reinstall is between you and your customer.

No reselling

Systems bought through the program must be installed by your own crew at a property you service, including your own properties. Reselling systems, listing them for sale, or buying on behalf of someone who is not your customer is not allowed. Zone Air may ask for a job address or an installation photo on any order. Provide it within five business days; until you do, Zone Air may hold orders that have not shipped. A violation closes the account. Zone Air may cancel and refund any order that has not shipped, and may invoice you for the discount received on any order that broke these terms.

Not a dealer

Membership does not make you an authorized dealer, distributor, agent, or partner of Zone Air, and does not grant any right to use the Zone Air name, logo, or product images in your advertising beyond describing the equipment you install. You may not present yourself as speaking for Zone Air or make warranty promises on its behalf.

Accounts

One account per business. Sign in is by email link. Keep your email address current; Zone Air can change it for you on request. Your business is responsible for every order placed through its account, including orders placed by employees using your sign-in link. Zone Air may close any account at any time, including for inaccurate application details. When an account closes, contractor pricing and any earned pricing step end immediately; orders already shipped and the warranty on systems already bought are not affected.

Changes

Program rates are published for each calendar year. This is the program's first year and Zone Air will adjust it as we learn. Zone Air may change or end the program with 30 days' notice; changes apply to purchases after the notice date.
